Goodrington Sands

The coastal village of Goodrington Sands in the attractive county of Devon is divided as North Sands, along a picturesque cliff walk from Roundham Head and South Sands along the promenade, where the tidal beach and seaside attractions are. The pretty coloured beach huts and dramatic coastline along with the diverse natural scenery inland make this popular area for visitors who enjoy the outdoors. Goodrington’s railway station opened in 1928 and is today on the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway line that can be boarded here for journeys along the South Devon coastline to Kingswear.

 

This pretty seaside village has ample amenities and shops, a choice of eateries and pubs and an abundance of attractions in the surrounding area. Outdoor activities are well catered for here with water sports, golf, riding, hiking trails, cycling and the wonderful tidal beach that is so popular with anglers.
