Frizington

Frizington is a pretty village in Cumbria, England, which was originally a collection of farms and houses, but the mining of coal and iron in the area caused a surge in population that unified the village into a cohesive whole. It is located in a part of the county that was formerly Cumberland, home of the Cumberland sausage. This is to the eastern side of Cumbria, closer to the Irish Sea. It is ideal for the visitor seeking the benefit of close proximity to a large number of historic sites and seaside locations, as well as the Lake District National Park, with a little less busyness and a lot more peace and quiet.
