Forton

Forton is a one of a knot of remote villages with good proximity and access to the city of Lancaster. Forton is a very rural community boasting beautiful views and numerous picturesque country walks by which to explore the countryside and wilderness of Lancashire. The Forest of Bowland, an area of outstanding natural beauty, is nearby, as are the West Pennine Moors.

The attractions of the local area include, but are not limited to, Astley Park & Astley Hall, Camelot Theme Park, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Lancaster Castle, and Yarrow Valley Country Park, with much more to see and do in the wider Lancashire area.
