Forsinard

Forsinard is a Scottish Highlands hamlet in the county of Sutherland, part of Strath Halladale, which is connected by a railway station on the Far North Line. It is served by a hotel and railway station on the Far North Line. The hamlet is situated in an area known as Flow Country, which consists of peat bog spanning a region from Caithness to Sutherland, which is a key nature reserve run by The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. This is a traditional and welcoming village with lots of amenities, good shopping prospects, popular beaches, and an 18 hole golf course.

Attractions in the area include Dunrobin Castle, Laidhay Croft Museum, Hugh Miller Museum and Birthplace Cottage, Brodie Castle, and the Falconer Museum.
