Flitwick

Flitwick is a small town in Bedfordshire, in England. It is named for its location by the River Flit, which flows through Flitwick Moor — a nature reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Although small, Flitwick has very good amenities, including a large Tesco Superstore, a skate part, a leisure centre, numerous independent shops and a choice of six pubs.

Woburn Safari Park, the Bedford Museum, Woburn Abbey, and the Whipsnade Wild Animal Park are just a few of the many attractions of the area, while Flitwick itself features an historic Manor House, which is currently used as a hotel and is believed to be haunted, as well as the enchanting bluebell wood and close proximity to the Flitwick Moor, which is said to be the first place in the world to bottle tonic water.
