Erskine

Erskine is a town in the Scottish council area of Renfrewshire, near to the north-west coast of Scotland. It is located on the southern bank of the River Clyde neighbouring Glasgow International Airport, and bordering the towns of Renfrew, Paisley, Bishopton, and Inchinnan. It is largely a commuter town serving the City of Glasgow. Formerly a village, Erskine was redeveloped in 1971 as a New Town. It now has a population of just over 10,000 people of a generally more affluent demographic, and a modern and vibrant atmosphere.

Popular attractions in the area include the Paisley MuseumCoats Observatory, Clydebuilt Scottish Maritime Museum, Fossil Grove, Denny Ship Model Experiment Tank, and the Finlaystone Country Estate.
