Eastbourne

Eastbourne is a unique yet traditional British seaside resort with broad and exciting range of activities, sports and events for visitors. Everything is within easy reach with the seafront promenade leading right on to the foot of the beautiful Eastbourne Downs, Beachy Head and the town centre; just a few yards walk from the centrally located Victorian Pier. Eastbourne is probably most famous for its beaches, offering the tranquillity of the hidden Falling Sands Beach at the foot of Beachy Head, or the popular stretch of beach which runs between the Pier and the Wish Tower. The promenade carries on for five miles, along the beaches leading, past the stunning Carpet Gardens, the famous 1930s bandstand, historic Napoleonic Towers and the lovingly restored Victorian Pier.

Eastbourne caters to all the family with fun amusements, a varied choice of dining from all over the world, an exciting nightlife, historic buildings, museums, art galleries and so much more. It really excels though with entertainment with a huge variety of shows and events to suit all ages and tastes. From West End Shows to local drama groups, from pop art to military history and from international tennis to an RAF air show, Eastbourne truly has something for everyone.

This year, the theatres are welcoming all of the UK's best major tours, with musicals ranging from the classic Seven Brides For Seven Brothers and the rock and roll hit Buddy to UK premiere tours such as I Can't Stop Loving You and the wonderful new production of Mack and Mabel starring David Soul and Janie Dee. Snow White On Ice and one of Europe's most artistic stage spectaculars - La Cuadra de Sevilla's adaptation of Carmina Burana, complete with Spanish choreography and two white stallions are also scheduled along with other outstanding productions and performers.
