Dulas

Dulas is a bay in Anglesey, Wales that is bordered by three beaches and designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The beaches, Traeth Dulas, Traeth Bach and Traeth yr Ora are a fascinating part of this diverse landscape; a rocky outcrop separates Traeth Bach and Traeth Yr Ora but when the tide is low, visitors can walk between all the three beaches. Just offshore is Ynys Dulas, a small island that is home to seals and is often referred to as ‘Seal Island’. Dulas offers few amenities but is in close proximity to the villages of Penysarn, Brynrefail, Gadfa and Nebo where there is further choice of shops, ample amenities, eateries and pubs.

A stroll along a beach at Dulas reveals shipwrecks and stunning scenery and as with all the villages and towns of Anglesey, Dulas benefits from the abundance of heritage sites, museums, galleries, visitor and cultural attractions, including the fascinating Anglesey Sea Zoo, the Butterfly Palace and Historic Beaumaris with its castle. For those looking to enjoy outdoor activities, fishing, boating, walking, golfing, surfing and riding can all be enjoyed in the area.
