Dawlish

The resort town of Dawlish in the attractive county of Devon lies in a picturesque area between steep hills at the outlet of Dawlish Water. The town started as a small settlement reliant on fishing and salt, which was abundant in the rock pools here. The most significant and still evident growth in prosperity came during the Regency and Victorian eras. Along the seafront of Dawlish are buildings in the Regency and early Victorian style.
