Cullompton is a town in Devon, South West England. It is scenically situated on the River Culm between Exeter and the border with Dorset. This is a very traditional town and its centre is conservation area with a street plan that still follows its medieval layout, and high street shops that retain their back alleys and courtsyards to the rear. There are a number of listed buildings in the town, three of which are grade I listed — The Walronds, built in 1605; St Andrew's Church, dating from the Norman to the medieval periods; and Cullompton Manor House, built in 1603. There are also a number of very popular walking routes in and around the town, including the Cullompton Leat, which runs parallel to the high street along side a public footpath, transporting water past three former watermills to the Culm.
Popular attractions in the area include the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeters Underground Passages, Powderham Castle, the Spacex Gallery, and the Crealy Great Adventure Park.
