Clarencefield

Clarencefield is small and attractive village in the council area of Dumfries and Galloway, in south-west Scotland. It is situated only 9 miles to the south east of Dumfries, and to the west of Annan, and so is a very popular commuter base and tourist destination. This is a fairly quiet and rural location, that is also within close proximity to the coast, in particular to the Solway Firth Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and to the bay of Lochan Water. The village is very traditional with basic but sufficient amenities, a choice of quality holiday accommodation, and several well-regarded public houses.
