Chatburn

Scenically, situated in a hollow between two ridges of the beautiful Ribble Valley is the little village of Chatburn, in East Lancashire, England. Visitors to the area will be pleased to find it just to the north-east of the traditional market town and holiday destination of Clitheroe, on the bank of the River Ribble. Chatburn one of a knot of villages along the valley that are popular with walkers exploring the various trails and with lovers of the countryside in general. There are numberous traditional pubs and restaurants to be found in the area, serving traditional homemade recipes and real ale from local breweries. The village lies just to the west of the beautiful yet notorious Pendle Hill, famous for the Pendle Witch Trials.
