Caerphilly is a commuter town in the heart of south Wales, at the southern end of the Rhymney Valley, neighbouring Cardiff and Newport. The town is very scenically situated at the foot of Caerphilly Mountain, and is a very popular tourist town due to the presence of the early medieval Caerphilly Castle, which is the second largest castle in Britain.
Just a few examples of the many attractions of the area includes: Cefn Mably Farm Park, the Coed Craig Ruperra woodland walk, the Sirhowy Valley Country Park, and the Fourteen Locks Canal Centre. The town also hosts The Big Cheese summer festival annually.
