Caerdeon

Caerdeon is a town and civil parish neighbouring Barmouth, in the county of Gwynedd, north-western Wales. It enjoys a scenic location at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, overlooking the hills and the estuary of the River Mawddach, near Cardigan Bay. This is a green and scenic place that provides an ideal base for walkers, mountaineers, mountain biking, watersports and a variety of other outdoor pursuits, but is also a very restful area from which to simple relax and explore. Attractions in the area include Farchynys Cottage, Fairbourne & Barmouth Steam Railway, Cymer Abbey, and Coed Y Brenin Forest Park.
