Bryngwran

The village of Bryngwran in Anglesey, Wales lies on the main A5 and home to the Felin Plas water mill that was formerly used to grind corn. The old Mill and equally old Lime Kiln have been converted into dwellings now but they once served to provide the livelihoods of a family from the area. Records of 1881 note that Bryngwran had two corn millers, Owen Roberts living with his wife at Ty Felin and William Jones aged 67 a widower with three daughters.

Bryngwran offers few amenities but is in close proximity to more developed towns and villages that offer excellent choices of shops, ample amenities, eateries and pubs. The location on this unspoilt island is amidst beautiful countryside and dramatic coastlines in an area renowned for breathtaking scenery and diverse wildlife, flora and fauna. All the villages and towns of Anglesey benefit from the abundance of heritage sites, museums, galleries, visitor and cultural attractions, including the fascinating Anglesey Sea Zoo, the Butterfly Palace and Historic Beaumaris with its castle.
