Brockenhurst

The village of Brockenhurst in the county of Hampshire lies within the scenic New Forest National Park, surrounded by woodland and abundant with diverse flora, fauna and wildlife. This is a protected Heritage Area of the New Forest and Europe’s largest surviving area of ancient pasture woodland. Although there has been a settlement here since around the Bronze Age, growth came to the village in the 18th century and improved prosperity followed with the coming of the railways in the 19th century.

Brockenhurst provides ample amenities, shops, eateries, restaurants and pubs as well as visitor and cultural attractions within the area that attract visitors throughout the year. The New Forest though is the most popular reason to visit and it is all around the village, with stunning scenery, incredible walks and the sight of wild ponies, deer and cows that roam free.
