Brixham

The small fishing town of Brixham in the attractive county of Devon lies across the bay from Torbay and is rich in maritime history. This ancient fishing port still thrives on its fishing industry alongside its popularity as a tourist destination. It is here in Brixham that trawler was invented, where legends of pirates and smugglers can still be heard and here too that visitors will find the replica of Sir Francis Drake's ship the Golden Hind.
