Brancaster

Brancaster is a village in the county of Norfolk, on the English East Coast. It neighbours the villages of Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Deepdale, with altogether form one continuous settlement between the marshes and Brancaster Bay, and overlooking the Scolt Head Island National Nature Reserve. The waters here are relatively calm and sheltered, which provides an excellent location for a family seaside holiday. It is here, that the young Admiral Horatio Nelson is said to have learned to sail. The village(s) offers an excellent range of amenities, good shopping prospects, and a choice of holiday accommodation to suits most needs and budgets. Attractions in the area include the RSPB Titchwell Marsh Nature Reserve, Holkham Hall and Bygones Museum, and Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary.
