Bourne End is a village in Buckinghamshire, England, where the River Wye meets the River Thames, close to the border with Berkshire.
The village has several recreation grounds and lots of areas of open space at the riverside marina, a popular sailing location, along with various other leisure pursuits. There are also a good number of restaurants, public houses and bed & breakfasts, which help to make Bourne End a very enjoyable place to stay, with excellent links to the sites and attractions of the English South-East.
Popular attractions of the region include Wycombe Abbey, the Roald Dahl Children's Gallery, Hartwell House, and Winslow Hall, to name only a few, while the immediate area features the floodplain of Cock Marsh, with its prehistoric burial mound; and the Thames Path National Trail.
