Borgue

Borgue (pronounced "Borg") is a small and attractive rural village in the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright, which is in the council area of Dumfries and Galloway, in south-west Scotland. It neighbours the seaside town of Kirkcudbright, and is a popular holiday destination for those seeking a quiet and convenient location, with good amenities and close proximity to a number of popular towns and beauty spots, being only just inland from the Bay of Kirkcudbright, and a short drive away from the Galloway Forest Park.

Attractions in the area include The Stewartry Museum, MacLellan's Castle, The Tolbooth Art Centre, Broughton House, Threave Castle, Castle Douglas Art Gallery, Cardoness Castle, and the Creetown Gem and Rock Museum, to name only a handful.
