Blundellsands

Blundellsands, or Blundell Sands, is a coastal village in the English county of Merseyside, to the north to the city of Liverpool, and neighbouring Crosby. It shares a stretch of Crosby Beach, which offers vast expanses of golden sand and an attractive fishing-village scenery around it. The beach is famous for its eery statues of nude standing sandmen looking out towards the Irish Sea. The popular exhibit is named Another Place, and was designed by the sculptor Antony Gormley. This is a generally very affluent part of the county, and is home to various rich and famous notables of the North.
