Bexhill

Found in the county of East Sussex, the quintessential seaside resort of Bexhill-on-Sea is often simply referred to as Bexhill. Nestling between the bustling resorts of Eastbourne and Hastings, Bexhill benefits from both the magnificent countryside and its coastal setting. This area is rich in history and it is a delight to discover the many castles, historic attractions and places of interest in and around Bexhill. This is after all, 1066 Country.

Bexhill-on-Sea offers the visitor a choice of activities and sites to visit, including historical, entertainment and sports attractions. The Bexhill Museum’s galleries cover Bexhill's motoring heritage plus costume and social history. The museum was started in 1914 by enthusiasts specialising in natural history, archaeology and ethnography and offers an incredible insight into town history, its famous residents and visitors and historic milestones that have made Bexhill internationally famous. Located just to the West of Bexhill town centre is Egerton Park, with many attractions on offer that appeal to young and old alike. The boating lake, tennis courts, putting green and indoor bowling centre offer the perfect way to enjoy our visit.
