Belford

Belford is an village near the English East Coast in the county of Northumberland. It lies just a few from the Roman-built Great North Road, which is now the A1. The village is popular for its close proximity to the Bowden Doors, which is reputedly one of the best rock climbing locations in England. The village has an extensive park, that has been designated a conservation area as it retains many of its original 18th century features, including a Grade II listed folly. 

There are also a number of other listed landmarks in and around the village including Belford Hall, which is a Grade I listed mansion house; The Village Hall; and the church, which features a Norman chancel.
