Barton

Barton is a village in picturesque Cheshire, close the city of Chester but also conveniently located near the Welsh border, only about eight miles east of Wrexham in Wales. Although small, Barton is a popular visiting spot among walkers due to the many routes in the area and the National Cycle Network Regional Route 70 passes the village to the south.

There is plenty to see and do in the area from the ancient Chester Cathedral and the historic houses like the extensive Tatton Park, which offers a fantastic family day out, to the Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre, with close proximity to a number of major attractions in the region.
