Angmering

Angmering is a large village in the English county of West Sussex, near Littlehampton and Worthing, just two miles inland from the English Channel. It is best known as the home of the Oval Raceway, also known as the Angmering Motor Sports Centre.

This is a very rural location, surrounded by farmland and featuring numerous historic buildings and dwellings dating as far back as the 15th century, around a traditional village centre. The village has a small selection of well-regarded pubs and restaurants, just a few small shops and good transport links to the larger towns and cities of the area, such as Portsmouth and historic Chichester. Nearby is Highdown Hill, which is a National Trust property and popular picnic site, at a former chalk quarry.
