Aberfeldy is a small market town and burgh in the Scottish council area of Perth and Kinross. It is located on the River Tay in Highland Perthshire, with a population of about 2000 people. It features in the well-known poem The Birks of Aberfeldy, by Robert Burns and is also mentioned in the traditional Loch Tay Boat Song.
The town has an 18-hole golf course, a children's park, and a busy town square that features a good variety of shops, restaurants and art galleries. Aberfeldy was also granted Fairtrade Town status in 2002, which was then renewed in December 2003 by the Fairtrade Foundation.
